These large end-grain butcher blocks are a perfect everyday cutting board or thick carving block for a special cut of meat. These end grain boards are made from a combination of walnut, cherry and maple hardwood locally sourced from the Midwest, United States. The durable hardwoods contrast their colors in the patterns of these boards, while providing a reliable and sturdy surface to chop and serve food. Chopping on end-grain blocks is much better for the sharpness of your knives long term, and the boards themselves will last much longer.

All of our boards are treated with a homemade board butter compound made from beeswax and mineral oil producing a food-safe coating that's water resistant to protect the board over time. Mineral oil is recommended to treat the board about once a month with frequent usage.
